According to the popularity charts, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is ranked 15th, and its popularity only has grown over the years. Cavaliers are among the largest toy breeds in the world and yet are frequently athletic in the manner of sporting breeds. Despite their origins as companion dogs, they enjoy adventures such as runs on the beach, hiking, and dog sports such as flyball, agility, and rally. Some have even proven their worth as hunting dogs. 

A nice walk around the neighborhood can meet the Cavalier’s exercise needs. Due to its spaniel heritage, it enjoys sniffing birds and exploring the wilds, but it can do so on a leash. Cavaliers also enjoy retrieving, and many of them enjoy swimming. The breed’s more relaxed members thrive as household companions as well as therapy dogs. Since it is not a combatant and is too tiny to defend itself, the Cavalier does very well in dog parks which separate dogs depending on size. Regular brushing and bathing are required for coat care.

The Cesky, a cross between a Scottish Terrier and a Sealyham Terrier, is a sturdy, short-legged, and stunning hunter with smooth, elegant coats that stand out. It is one of the world’s six rarest dog breeds. Cesky Terriers are much less active and calmer than most other terrier breeds, but that doesn’t mean they’re not entertaining. 

Cesky Terriers could be a handful as puppies because they love chewing and destroying their toys. If you don’t keep an eye on your Cesky, this behavior can lead to household destruction. They love digging like any other terrier, so if you want to keep your yard looking nice, find a spot where it’s acceptable for them to dig and train your Cesky to dig there. They have a low but loud bark and enjoy exercise, especially fetch!

4) Chow Chow

The Chow Chow is one of the oldest Chinese dog breeds, with a lineage dating back thousands of years. It is a dog breed of one-of-a-kind delights that are also gentlemanly and aloof. Chows are large, powerful dogs with a compact build. A lion’s mane around the neck and shoulders, deep-set almond-shaped eyes that add to a frowning, snobbish appearance, a blue-black tongue,  and a stiff-legged gait are among their distinguishing features. Despite having a mild scent, they are said to be as thorough as cats. 
Chow Chows are protective and loyal to their owners. They require a lot of early socialization, including exposure to children, to become good family pets. Chow chows benefit from training to solidify their place in the family. Otherwise, they can become dominant. Despite training difficulties, a few chow chows compete and perform admirably in agility and obedience.

5) Collie

Cockapoos are one of the oldest designer dog breeds and are a cross between the poodle and the American Cocker Spaniel. It is frequently known as  Cockerpoo, Cockapoodle, or cock-a-poo. These sled dogs, originating in the Canadian Arctic, are known for their extraordinary vigor and endurance and are adaptable instead of efficient workers. For several hundred years, the Inuit, as well as their ancestors, used these dogs to pull sleds as a mode of transportation. 

From the 1950s until the 1970s, thousands of sled dogs were eliminated, effectively eradicating the breed. Since then, a revitalization program has assisted in re-establishing the Canadian Inuit Dog.
